Western Industrial Parts, Inc. was proud to celebrate 40 years of excellent customer service in June
of 2008. The business was started by owner, founder and CEO, Milton Anderson in June, 1968. Milt
used his garage as a warehouse and his family station wagon for a delivery vehicle. Every week Milt
would make the drive over the Sierra Nevada from his home in Reno, to Sacramento, in order to build
his cliental. It is this tradition of determination and perseverance that continues to make Western
Industrial Parts, Inc. Reno’s premier, family owned, and operated, Fastener Company.
Those same values, and traditions of hard work, were passed on to Milton’s son Craig who became
President of the company in 2005. Craig began his career in the fastener business in 1986 at age 15.
His first jobs were sweeping the warehouse, picking nuts and bolts and answering the phones. He rose
through the ranks, eventually doing every possible job the company had to offer. In 1995 he became a
salesman working the I80 corridor east to the far reaches of Nevada and west into California. In 2005,
after nearly tripling the business and engineering a move to a larger facility, Craig assumed the role of
President of the company from Milton. Today Milton is semi-retired but father and son continue their
close working relationship.
Throughout the 40+ years Western Industrial Parts, Inc has been in business, it has served every western
state from its 20,000 square foot distribution center located in Reno, Nevada. As a privately owned
